If the title of this post doesn't explain it well enough let me make myself clear. This local fabric shop is good! DryGoods Design is located on Ballard Ave in the loft of a cozy little coffee bar {Anchored Ship}. They carry such adorable in-style fabrics, rifle paper co. products, great pattern books and even have a sewing studio in the back that you can rent a station at. Next time you're in the area, cozy up inside and take a look.

As of Recently.

I've started the New Year off quietly {as you may have noticed} yet very purposefully. The coming chapter is one full of mindful decisions and much work of the self. It will mark the completion of my 20's and begin a time that I'm very much embracing and looking forward to.
Much like many fellow artists and creatives, anxiety and insecurity frequently run through my body. I've always known that much of it is self inflicted and determined on my own thoughts but I've still allowed it to be a large part of my personality. Although I know its a long road ahead, I'm determined to leave much of the uncertainties with this past decade and embrace these 30's with confidence, appreciation, and a clearer vision of ME.
Wishing all of you Happy New Beginnings this new year..

A Sunday Supper
Last Sunday was one dedicated to friends and food. We took it one step further and enjoyed dinner's equally fun counterpart, cooking. It was a wonderfully warm and delicious evening in the kitchen full of inspiration. Cheers to girlfriends of whom you share common interests and enjoy simply being together.

Photo Galleries
In desperate need of finding a place to showcase some recent projects, I've created a section of Photo Galleries. Over to the right on the side bar you can find a link to each.
I'll leave you here with a few shots of my darling nephew. Afternoon light + a baby. Yes please.

Dance like everyone's watching.
During a shoot the other night with our Dear friend Josey, I snapped a few sequential shots in hopes to create and capture him being...him. Turns out, my attempt was a success. This man is full of so much talent, love, and life. East coast, treat him well. He deserves every little bit of it. Thanks for being you Joe and best of luck.
This week has been one of a few hard goodbyes. Its now become clear just how lucky I've been the past few years. Very special people have left, come back and more have gone. People say it so loosely that it almost feels cliche at this point but, oh what the hell. I am one lucky lady to have friends like these...
Love you to bits Christina Marie. Go get em' girl.

Love and the Marriage
Two of my very dear friends were married last weekend. I had the pleasure of being one of their photographers.
It was a wedding of one thousand percent pure love for each other, their family and friends. It will be my absolute pleasure to share the memories with them and you. Stay tuned.
To add to my full heart, my nephew Liam was born this week. I couldn't love him and his mother more.
